Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a QA or Technical role (placement year acceptable).
• Experience with internal auditing is a bonus.
• Knowledge of BRCGS and retailer codes of practice is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain technical risk assessments including HACCP, allergen control, segregation, and traceability.
• Manage documentation systems and internal audits to meet BRCGS and customer standards.
• Monitor traceability throughout the site, conducting regular audits and driving continuous improvement.

Skills

HACCP Level 3 or above

Food Safety Level 2 or higher

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Fluent English

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Technical Compliance Technologist to strengthen their team in Redditch.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for maintaining high technical standards and who thrives on ensuring full compliance across internal systems, audits, and customer requirements.

What You'll Be Doing in thisTechnical Compliance Technologist role

• Lead and maintain technical risk assessments including HACCP, allergen control, segregation and traceability
• Manage documentation systems and internal audits to meet BRCGS and customer standards
• Support compliance for new product development and annual process validations
• Oversee export documentation, vet visits, and service supplier approvals
• Monitor traceability throughout the site, conducting regular audits and driving continuous improvement
• Maintain and calibrate validation equipment
• Collaborate cross-functionally to promote technical excellence

What You’ll Need inthisTechnical Compliance Technologist role

• Higher education qualification in Food Science, Quality or Safety
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a QA or Technical role (placement year acceptable)
• HACCP Level 3 or above & Food Safety Level 2 or higher
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and fluent Englis

Bonus if you have:

• Internal auditing experience
• Knowledge of BRCGS and retailer codes of practice
• Allergen and traceability system expertise
