A leading fresh food business in Kent is seeking a Technical Compliance Manager to oversee food safety and compliance across multiple products and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Technical Compliance within the food sector and strong communication skills. This full-time role requires travel across sites and a flexible work approach.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Technical Compliance position, within Fresh Produce / Food environments.
  • Awareness of food safety, ethical due diligence, and monitoring environmental impacts.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work at all levels.

Our Client is a dynamic, innovative, and established Fresh Food business who has grown to become a market leader in the sourcing, production, and distribution of fresh produce to some of the UK's leading retailers. Their Group Responsible Sourcing team is looking for a Technical Compliance Manager based in Kent, working full-time

The Technical Compliance Manager role will take ownership of compliance across a wide range of fresh produce products, geographies, and suppliers, ensuring food safety, ethical due diligence, and monitoring environmental impacts. The Technical Compliance Manager will manage and develop compliance team, drive continuous improvement, and provide clear direction to ensure compliance standards are achieved and maintained

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Technical Compliance position, within Fresh Produce / Food environments
  • Awareness of food safety, ethical due diligence, and monitoring environmental impacts
  • Knowledge of and confident to work to & achieve BRC standards and Red Tractor standards
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work at all levels
  • Driven, energetic, and passionate about achieving results
  • Driving Licence is essential due to travel across sites

Salary: Dependent on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm, but flexibility required
