Job Title: Technical Compliance Manager

Location: Walkden, Greater Manchester

Salary: Up to £47,000

Hours: Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We’re recruiting for a Technical Compliance Manager to join a growing food manufacturing site in the Walkden area. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of technical compliance across the site, working closely with operations to maintain the highest standards in food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead internal audit programmes and ensure timely closure of non-conformances.
  • Prepare for customer and third-party audits (both planned and unannounced).
  • Conduct gap analyses on new codes of practice and implement necessary changes.
  • Support HACCP reviews and ensure critical food safety controls are maintained.
  • Monitor and improve systems for allergen control, foreign body prevention, and pest management.
  • Line-manage and develop the technical compliance team.
  • Assist with complaint investigations and trend analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct hygiene inspections and support process audits for new product launches.
