Technical Co-ordinator / Administrator


*Part time (25 hours) OR full time (37.5) hours considered*


£25k p/a (based on full time) HD2, Parking, Main Bus Route


Training will be given, however the ideal candidate will have a background in administration with an exposure to logistics, freight, shipping or supply chain.


Job Role


Due to a staff member retiring, our Huddersfield based client is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Co-ordinator to ensure the accuracy and compliance of inbound shipments. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in verifying shipping documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance to prevent any issues upon container arrival.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Review shipping consignment paperwork to ensure accuracy, including verifying serial numbers against documentation.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies before containers arrive at port.
  • Check and verify compliance regarding the origin of products to meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address any shipping or compliance issues proactively.

Requirements


  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain compliance preferred.
  • Ability to work with documentation and regulatory requirements.
