Technology is central to everything we do, and we have invested heavily in our teams who deliver industry leading, web-based & PDF solutions. Our internal enterprise Content Management System (CMS) is used to drive our content production, product creation and distribution processes. We have a specialist Global Editorial team 500+ strong and produce over 200 curated Publications, of which more than half are daily.

You will play a key role in maintaining and improving overall performance of the system, optimizing processes, ensuring effective service desk resolution, improved user satisfaction and training. Throughout, this role will partner with the Censhare development team, engineering, infrastructure, product, production and editorial teams in delivering solutions and improving processes.

What will you be doing

  • Line Management of the Editorial Support Team in London and Mumbai
  • Responsible for the end-to-end support of the CMS solution to ensure a timely publishing process with publication deadlines
  • Ensure the Editorial Support team meet publishing SLAs
  • Work closely with the Editorial Support Team to build and configure Editorial content workflows in Censhare to improve efficiency
  • Develop and maintain support documentation of business processes, workflows, applications, and data dictionaries as relevant
  • Contribute to the Content Management System roadmap configuration development and execution
  • Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure user experience is an integral part of the roadmap and enhancement process
  • Work closely with the Product Manager and our external Censhare team ensuring new development activities are correct as per requirements, well understood in each region and documented internally
  • Define success criteria which can be built into the design and development lifecycle and can be measured through analytics to ensure supportability and maintainability of our CMS solution
  • Establish and manage the release process ensuring stable deployments
  • Support business users to ensure smooth transition from development activities into production by providing product knowledge during training, UAT and go live activities
  • Generate and analyze reports on support performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on support metrics and achievements.
  • Responsible for defining and implementing the CMS training strategy and ensure consistent CMS usage across all teams and regions

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience in supporting CMS products, Adobe InDesign and InCopy
  • Experience of supporting a global support team
  • Good communicator, able to define and present support and training strategies and ensure their implementation
  • Strong management and collaboration skills with the ability to align departments throughout the product support lifecycle
  • Proven track record of building the teams and processes to support enterprise Content Management Solutions

Desirable

  • Knowledge of conceptual data modelling, data flows, data analysis and data profiling
  • Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Experience working with remote development teams
