Technical Case Manager - Competitive salary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Case Manager on the Property Major and Complex loss team. We are looking for someone with a good foundation in Commercial Property claims who has a keen focus on progressing their technical handling skills and knowledge. A bit about the job:

You will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of large and complex Commercial Property claims, handling complex and large property claims over £100,000 from cradle to grave. You will utilise your technical knowledge, application of the law, understanding of FOS outcomes and our claims philosophies and standards to deliver timely, customer-focused and cost-efficient outcomes. You will be assigned a buddy once you join the team, who will work with you to support you in this new role as you develop your skills and handling ability.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  1. Strong technical claims knowledge - able to understand and communicate complex policy conditions
  2. Problem solving skills
  3. Able to make balanced decisions in a decisive manner with a clear focus on indemnity spend
  4. Strong stakeholder management skills, to articulate technical issues to a variety of internal and external parties
  5. Well-developed customer service skills and ability to react quickly to decisions, ensuring excellent customer engagement throughout
