Aviva seeks a Technical Case Manager to handle complex household property claims. This role requires strong technical insurance knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills. The candidate will manage claims, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions while providing outstanding customer service, supported by a buddy system.

Are you someone who has a good foundation in Household property claims and a keen focus on progressing your technical handling skills and knowledge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Household Case Manager on the Property Major and Complex loss team.
A bit about the job:
Our new colleague will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of large and complex household property claims, handling complex and large property claims over £100K end to end. The role will utilise your technical knowledge, application of the law, understanding of FOS outcomes and our claims philosophies and standards to deliver timely, customer-focussed and cost-efficient outcomes. You’ll be assigned a buddy once you join the team, who will work with you to support you in this new role as you develop your skills and handling ability
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong technical knowledge – In depth understanding of property insurance policies, coverage interpretation, and claims assessment.
Ability to manage complex and high value property claims, ensuring thorough investigations and fair settlements.
Able to make balanced decisions in a decisive manner with a clear focus on indemnity spend
Well developed interpersonal skills, to articulate technical issues to a variety of internal and external parties
Well developed customer service skills and ability to react quickly to decisions, ensuring excellent customer engagement throughout and being able to understand and communicate complex policy conditions & problem solving skills

Starting salary circa £35000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
