Job summary

Evera Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Technical Buyer to establish and grow the procurement function as production moves from prototype to low-volume manufacturing. You will own sourcing strategy, supplier selection and commercial negotiations, building a global supplier network to support future growth.

You will lead cross-functional efforts with engineering and leadership, interpret technical drawings, and negotiate favorable terms to meet cost and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical or direct procurement within automotive, aerospace, advanced engineering or a similar manufacturing environment.
• The ability to interpret engineering drawings and confidently discuss technical requirements with engineers and suppliers.
• Proven experience negotiating commercial agreements and supplier contracts.
• Strong supplier relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, growing business environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally to visit suppliers and manufacturing partners.
