Job summary

Pertemps London is seeking a Technical Buyer for its St John's Wood, London operation. This office-based role offers hybrid working after probation and focuses on sourcing engineering spare parts and assemblies for manufacturing across Europe and beyond.

You will manage RFQs, negotiate with suppliers, produce costings and margin calculations, and maintain supplier relationships while collaborating with engineering and internal stakeholders. International exposure awaits.

Qualifications

• Engineering/technical qualification required.
• 2–5 years buying/procurement experience in engineering/manufacturing/FMCG.
• Experience purchasing technical products, equipment or spare parts.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international procurement processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP Business One.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Are you a Buyer with a technical, engineering or manufacturing background looking to join a global organisation offering international exposure, career development and long-term progression?

We’re recruiting for a Technical Buyer to join a well-established international procurement team based in London. Supporting manufacturing operations across multiple countries, you’ll play a key role in sourcing engineering spare parts, equipment and assemblies from suppliers across Europe and beyond.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supplier negotiation, international sourcing and building long-term supplier relationships within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role
