We are recruiting for an experienced Technical Business Development Manager to join a well-established engineering business with over 35 years' experience in the installation, servicing, maintenance and relocation of integrated automation and material handling systems.
The business specialises in solutions including automated storage systems, conveyors, cranes and associated material handling equipment, with an established customer base across the UK and Europe.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious technical sales professional to take ownership of a new service and maintenance revenue stream, developing existing accounts while identifying and winning new business.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role. You will be out meeting customers, visiting sites, understanding technical requirements, identifying opportunities and developing long-term commercial relationships.
You will have the freedom to build your own pipeline and generate new business, supported by an experienced engineering, service and project team.
We are looking for a commercially driven and technically minded sales professional who is adaptable, motivated and excited by the opportunity to build and develop a new revenue stream.
You will ideally have previous technical sales, business development or account management experience within automation, material handling, engineering or a related industry.
