We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Subsea Network Business Developer to help build and scale one of the world's largest and most complex networks. This role involves planning and constructing subsea backbone capacity, working closely with various teams to develop and deliver submarine cable projects, and implementing process improvements while engaging with stakeholders across Amazon.
Responsibilities include sourcing, planning, assisting in project delivery, owning network acquisition and strategy, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to expand Amazon's AWS footprint globally. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to find innovative, cost-effective solutions to support Amazon’s growth.
Daily activities involve managing multi-year projects, coordinating with vendors and teams, ensuring project standards and timelines are met, and solving issues proactively. The Subsea Backbone team manages deployment, operation, upgrades, and security standards for submarine networks, working closely with regional teams to deliver capacity globally.
