Job Overview

Job Title: Technical Business Analyst (FS Industry exp required) — Location: London (3 days on-site per week) — Salary/Rate: £310 Per Day — Start Date: 06/10/2025 — Job Type: Inside IR35 Contract

Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join their team in London on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for gathering and validating business and technical requirements, supporting DevOps processes and tooling, and driving process improvements within a large, matrixed banking environment.

Required Skills / Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

The pressing need is for a Technical BA that ideally has good DevOps experience, and worked with apps/tools such as:

• Jira
• Confluence
• GitHub
• Nexus/Sonatype
• CI/CD / Jenkins
• Deployment tooling (G3, Ansible)
• Monitoring & logging tools

Additionally, a good mix of the following:

• 5+ years in banking / finance
• Good written & verbal communication skills and people skills, and build good working relationships with team and wider stakeholders
• Project experience across large matrix organisation
• Ability to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Proven capability in identifying root causes, troubleshooting incidents, and developing effective solutions.
• Process Improvement: Experience in mapping, documenting, and analysing process flows to identify opportunities for automation and optimisation within a DevOps context.
• Good working experience of Excel, Powerpoint, Word
• Familiarity with database concepts and the ability to query and analyse data
• Independent worker with ?can do? attitude and a strong sense of ownership to get the job done
• (Experience with M&A, integrations, divestitures would be a plus)
