Job DescriptionTechnical Business Analyst – SC Cleared
We're seeking a Technical Business Analyst with 8+ years of experience to support the evolution of a cloud- data platform handling large-scale streaming and batch data. You'll bridge the gap between business and engineering, translating complex requirements into actionable user stories and helping drive agile delivery.
Due to the nature of the role, active SC clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities

• Work with architects, engineers, product and security teams to define technical requirements.




• Write detailed, version-controlled user stories for data pipelines, architecture and analytics.




• Facilitate workshops, refinement sessions and cross-team planning.




• Manage documentation and delivery roadmaps using Jira, Confluence and project tools.




• Support architecture discussions and ensure tech considerations are captured in delivery.




• Track progress, flag risks, and support agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retros, etc.).

Skills & Experience

• 8+ years as a Business Analyst in data-heavy or technical environments.




• Strong experience writing stories for ETL/data pipelines and platform integrations.




• Solid understanding of data platforms, lifecycle and engineering workflows.




• Skilled in Jira, Confluence, delivery planning and stakeholder engagement.




• Excellent communicator; fluent in both business and technical .




• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)




• Understanding of data governance, lineage, and cataloguing
  




• Exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
