Job summary

Morson Edge is helping a growing FinTech hire a Senior Technical Business Analyst. You’ll work with business owners to identify real problems, challenge assumptions and translate needs into clear specs.

You’ll stay involved through delivery with developers, write functional specs, user stories and acceptance criteria, review API specs and use SQL to analyse data. The role is remote with monthly visits to a North West office and UK hours, offering pension and private healthcare.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and documenting requirements in a software development environment.
• Able to read and interpret API specs (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON) and comfortable testing APIs.
• Proficient SQL and a solid grasp of relational databases and data modelling.
• Agile delivery experience and strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical people.
• Confluence and JIRA are used, but can be learned.

I’m working with a growing fintech that’s looking for a Senior Technical BA to join their team.

They have an established internal lending platform that’s now used by third parties too. There’s plenty still to build, and leadership backs technology-led change. You’ll work directly with the people you’re delivering for, so feedback is quick and impact is visible.

The role

• Salary up to £70k plus discretionary bonus
• Remote, with roughly monthly visits to an office in the North West
• UK hours, working with a mix of UK-based and remote developers
