Job summary

Your Jared is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support technology governance and design assurance activities across a major transformation programme for a Central Government client. The role is remote-first with occasional travel to London.

You will gather requirements, produce governance documentation, and work with architects, security teams and senior stakeholders. Active SC & NPPV clearance is required; Gov/Defence or national security background is preferred.

We’re supporting a Central Government client and are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support technology governance and design assurance activities across a major transformation programme.

Location: Remote-first with occasional travel to London
Rate: £350-375/day
IR35: Outside IR35
Clearance: Active SC & NPPV
Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Support Technical Design Authority (TDA) and governance forums
• Coordinate technology assurance and design review activities
• Gather and document business and technical requirements
• Produce governance documentation, decision logs and actions
• Work closely with architects, security teams and senior stakeholders
• Support risks, dependencies and technical decision-making processes

Experience Required

• Active SC & NPPV Clearance
• Past Gov, Defence or National Security experience
• Strong Business Analysis experience within Government or regulated environments
• Experience supporting governance, assurance or technology delivery functions
• Comfortable engaging with architects, technical teams and senior stakeholders
• Excellent analysis, documentation and stakeholder management skills

This role would suit a credible Business Analyst with experience operating within complex technology environments and supporting governance-led delivery.
