Technical Business Analyst

I am working with a global media and entertainment organization to identify a Technical Business Analyst who will support international content distribution initiatives across physical and digital channels. This role is well suited to a candidate who excels at bridging business requirements with technical delivery in a complex, fast-paced environment.

The position requires strong stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, and hands‑on technical skills, with the opportunity to collaborate across regions and time zones.

Role Overview

The Technical Business Analyst will partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to support and enhance enterprise applications and data solutions that underpin international distribution and commercial operations. The role focuses on understanding business processes, translating requirements into actionable technical deliverables, and ensuring solutions meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand workflows, data requirements, and operational challenges.
  • Lead requirements gathering and documentation, including functional requirements and use cases.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and continuous improvement, helping prioritise work initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for supported applications and business processes.
  • Collaborate with technology delivery teams to support enhancements and ongoing application needs.
  • Review solution designs and validate that outcomes align with business requirements.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, training, and change management activities.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support and act as an escalation point for business issues.
  • Support reporting and analytics needs for distribution and commercial teams.
Candidate Profile
  • Experience in an IT, business analysis, or application support role with direct business engagement.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and SDLC best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex requirements.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different levels and regions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or analytical discipline, or equivalent experience.
