Job summary

ISS Facility Services UK seeks an Engineering Supervisor for a bank's corporate site in Northampton. You will lead the Day and Shift Engineering teams, ensuring planned maintenance and rapid repairs of mechanical and electrical building services while upholding safety standards and quality records.

The role requires an engineering qualification and prior banking environment experience, with a focus on safe systems of work and delivering reliable facility services on site.

Qualifications

• Suitably qualified in an engineering discipline.
• Experience in a similar banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, oversee and carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements.
• Maintain accurate records/documentation for electrical aspects of the PPM and plant.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the ISS team, clients, suppliers and wider ISS community.
• Improve SOPs/EOPS and develop technical solutions for reactive and planned maintenance activities.
• Ensure Client and ISS standards and governance are communicated, implemented and maintained.

Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider we are looking to recruit an established Engineering Supervisor to join our client's corporate site in Northampton.

The client are a world renowned Banking organisation, and this site as their HQ is high profile and highly critical

In this role you will lead the Shift Engineering teams and report into the Critical Engineering Manager.

In the role, you will supervise the Engineering Day and Shift Team completion of planned maintenance and reactive repairs of mechanical and electrical building services & Building Fabric, helping to ensure maximum Uptime and ensuring our clients operations are always supported.

You will support and adhere to the ISS SSOW -Safe Systems of Work and HASAWA – health and safety at work act, championing a health and safety culture throughout site with zero accident goal.

Actions will include:

• To supervise, oversee and carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM),
• Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract
• requirements.
• To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to
• maintain accurate records/documentation associated the electrical aspects of the
• PPM and plant.
• To develop and maintain strong working relationships with the ISS team, key clients,
• suppliers and the wider ISS community.
• service delivery through improvements to SOPs, EOPS and the development of
• technical solutions for reactive & planned maintenance activities.
• Ensure that Client & ISS standards and governance are effectively communicated,
• implemented and maintained.
