Technical Building Inspector (EWI & Cavity Wall Insulation) - South London / Southern Home Counties

A new vacancy for a Technical Building Inspector (INSULATION) with a leading provider of auditing & inspection services for the Construction industry. Home-based in the South London / Southern Home Counties area, the Technical Building Inspector (INSULATION) will be responsible for carrying out general building inspections, both site and quality, to ensure compliance with pre-identified scheme requirements, whilst providing relevant information and guidance to installing companies and their installers. The role will involve regular interaction with site installers, housebuilders and architects - both through site visits and via phone/e-mail. Training & personal development plan can be provided.
About you:
Candidates for this Technical Building Inspector (INSULATION) role should come from a broad-based Construction/Building industry background with at least 5 years of experience in a role that has involved working with EXTERNAL WALL INSULATION and/or CAVITY WALL INSULATION. He/she must also be able to demonstrate a good practical understanding of a wide range of insulation installation & maintenance techniques, and will probably have previous experience in a site management or supervisory role. The successful candidate will put on a 6-12 month development plan with opportunities for further training/mentoring during this period.
