Role: Business Analyst SC Invoicing (external)

Team and mission: The Invoicing Team is part of our Shared Components. The team builds common solutions used by our internally developed applications to generate and manage cash events which become cash transactions. This Product has and will continue to evolve a structured flexibility (e.g. use of rules engines) in order to manage in a maintainable manner a common platform serving a variety of local needs across a growing set of business users. Initial user groups are from Credit Insurance business line. In the long term this will be expanded after a credit insurance country rollout away from a legacy invoicing application is complete.

The team consists of a product owner (who will steer the direction of the team), the new business analyst, a solution architect, an asset owner, a scrum master, a lead tester and a number of developers. We are moving to a more DevOps approach - mainly using the Azure DevOps stack (Boards) to manage the team in combination with using Confluence for documenting requirements.

Role description:

We are looking for someone who is willing to support the team in the long term in the capacity of a technical / business analyst. There are a great number of epics and features already defined, designed and developed. This needs improving for consistency, traceability and readability as well as enhancing with business changes for new requirements from a backlog. We would expect the person taking on the role of the business analyst to execute the following tasks:

oWork alongside PO to elicit and refine requirements for functionality from a variety of business and finance accounting and financial reporting stakeholders

oWork alongside PO to refine backlog to make ready for development

oExpand descriptions of features and stories to the level that developers can use these to execute on and subsequently work with the team to ensure that the specification are correctly interpreted.

oDefine business tests and participate in business testing.

oActively take part / contribute in daily stand-up, planning, retrospectives, etc.

In terms of capabilities, we are looking for:

·A technical analyst or business analyst (at least 3 years of experience of either) in Financial Services sector.

·Excellent English (verbal and written) with an extrovert/engaging character.

·Experience with eliciting requirements for end to end processes and distribution processes in international environments.

·Good presenting / PowerPoint skills.

·Knowledge and usage of Confluence, HP ALM tool, JIRA, SQL (basic level for analysis)

·Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect is an advantage (used for basic process modelling)

·Experience in working in DevOps teams as a Business / Technical analyst

·Experience in analysing fiscal reporting structures is an advantage

·A quick learner who can drive the things independently with less supervision.

·A quiet work place (if working from home)

We are looking for someone to begin on boarding by late Spring/early summer.

The person must fit into the team, as there is daily contact with the whole team (product owners and developers). The working hours will be in line with CET time zone.
