Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst / Technical BA-PM to support data and process transformation in Wealth Management. You will work with business and engineering stakeholders on highly technical programmes involving data platforms and automated controls.

Role emphasizes requirements gathering, data lineage, and translating technical designs for implementation by engineers and architects. Onsite work in Birmingham is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Technical Business Analyst or Technical BA/PM in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong data analysis, mapping and lineage experience across multiple source systems.
• Ability to translate technical requirements for developers, data engineers and architects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience delivering data-driven transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse & document business, functional & technical requirements for transformation programmes.
• Collaborate with engineering to understand data flows and platform architecture.
• Map data lineage across source systems through data lakes and controls platforms.
• Lead workshops with stakeholders to capture requirements and align priorities.
• Translate requirements into technical specs for devs, data engineers & architects.
• Support automated controls, data governance & process automation initiatives.
• Review designs and complex calculation methodologies where needed.
• Manage deliverables, risks, dependencies and stakeholder communications.
• Partner with business & tech teams to ensure solutions meet objectives.
