Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and versatile Technical Business Analyst to join our team. You will support a significant transformation portfolio over the next five years, impacting our entire systems landscape. This role reports to the Lead Technical Business Analyst within the Software Engineering function and is ideal for an experienced BA seeking a role beyond the standard.

Responsibilities

• Perform structured analysis to understand the full impact of change, including documenting current and future technical processes, data flow diagrams, and data models.
• Review and understand business and non-functional requirements, providing constructive challenge.
• Contribute to solution proposals and architecture, identify concerns, and collaborate to resolve issues, suggesting simpler alternatives when possible.
• Work with Enterprise and Solution Architecture teams to ensure technical solutions meet requirements and architectural standards.
• Conduct gap analysis between current and proposed implementations.
• Define scope boundaries clearly, including in-scope and out-of-scope elements.
• Assess technical, business, and change impacts of proposed solutions and integrations.
• Contribute to epics and stories for key programs, ensuring actionable requirements for engineering teams.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have at least 4+ years of technical business analysis experience, demonstrating strategic thinking, trustworthiness, clarity in communication, and problem-solving skills. You should be comfortable communicating at all organizational levels, reviewing technical designs, challenging ideas, and understanding the big picture while paying attention to detail. Experience with Agile methodologies, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and full SDLC knowledge are essential.
