Premier Production Ltd. is a leading UK technical production company delivering lighting, audio, video, staging and effects for corporate events, festivals and venues.

We are seeking an established Technical Audio-Visual Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery, coordinating crews, kit, sites and suppliers. You will work on client briefs, plan technical requirements, ensure health and safety, monitor costs and drive projects to on-time completion, while maintaining quality and strong

Qualifications

• Experience in audio-visual project management for live events.
• Understanding of AV equipment and setups for live events.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and basic CAD knowledge.

Responsibilities

Job description

Salary – £40-55k depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete technical AV lifecycle of projects from initial planning to execution, ensuring all technical requirements are fulfilled
• Taking a client brief and planning the technical requirements such as staging, lighting and sound that are required to deliver the project
• Attending and conducting site visits as necessary
• Ensuring the necessary resources are allocated to the project including crew and kit
• Completing production documents to ensure crew receive all the required information
• Supporting with any health and safety requirements and ensuring all risk assessments and method statements are completed as necessary
• Ensure financial efficiency of projects by monitoring costs and profit margins
• Resolve any on-site issues related to technical setups, equipment, or logistics, making immediate decisions to keep projects on schedule

Key Skills and Experience:

• A proven track record of audio-visual project management experience in the live events industry ideally within a technical production company
• Full understanding of equipment and technical setups for live events including audio, lighting, staging, screen and special effects
• Experience of working with set and scenic builds for live events, with a good practical understanding of how scenic elements integrate with AV, lighting and staging would be beneficial but not necessarily essential
• Experience with budgeting, reconciling and negotiating all scale of projects
• Able to understand and interpret technical drawings and have a basic use of CAD programs
• Working knowledge of current UK and European Health and Safety regulations
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to resolve issues related to technical execution or logistics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as necessary

We are looking for an established Technical Audio-Visual Project Manager to join the team.You will have previous experience in an audio-visual technical production role and experience of dealing directly with clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of all physical build and audio-visual elements of our projects. This will involve planning and arranging audio-visual requirements and kit, managing production sites, on-site teams and suppliers and ensuring that all health and safety and quality requirements are met.
