Job summary

MWH Treatment Limited is seeking a Technical Author for the South West region with hybrid working. You will create, edit and manage technical documentation for water treatment, wastewater processing, network infrastructure and plant equipment.

Collaborating with engineers, project managers and operations staff, you will translate complex concepts into clear, compliant documents for diverse audiences and support commissioning documentation across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Author or Technical Writer in water, utilities, or engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clarity and consistency.
• Experience researching and interpreting complex technical information and standards.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and manage O&M manuals for assets.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and operators to gather information.
• Maintain a technical documentation library aligned with company standards.
• Ensure documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support commissioning documentation across projects.
