Technical Author

Technical Author: Due to an increase in New Products, our client is seeking a Technical Author to create 3D-driven technical documentation using Cortona 3D PLM software. You will develop clear, customer-focused content directly from engineering CAD data in formats like HTML, iOS, and PDF.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create technical documentation for new products and internal procedures.
2. Develop machine manuals, technical bulletins, and training materials.
3. Ensure compliance with CE legislation and ISO standards.
4. Maintain up-to-date publications and support the ECR change control process.

Skills & Experience

1. 5-10+ years’ experience in a Technical Author role.
2. Strong writing skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
3. Knowledge of Cortona 3D, ARAS, Adobe products, and Microsoft Office.
4. Degree in Engineering or English (preferred).
5. Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
