Job description

Enpure Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Technical Author to be based at our office in Rubery, Birmingham.

Hybrid working: 3 days office based and 2 WFH.

Your duties will include the following:

  1. Prepare and publish technical documents in support of projects in which the company participates.
  2. Understand client and company standards for project technical documentation.
  3. Edit and/or rewrite various sources of information into a uniform style and language for use in project documents.
  4. Review Operation & Maintenance manuals.
  5. Assemble and issue extensive asset data.
  6. Manage and liaise with external stakeholders on all projects.
  7. Prepare and publish technical documentation as required for project teams.
  8. Check and audit the activities of other technical writers as required.
  9. Receive, register, and file technical documentation and drawings.
  10. Manage own time to agreed targets to ensure efficient effort.
  11. Comply with company procedures and work instructions, guide notes, and other information that forms part of the quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental management systems.
  12. Fully participate in the development of procedures and systems for use within the Administration and/or Project Delivery Department as applicable.
  13. Communicate fully with other project team members and others on matters relating to the project.
  14. Comply with all Health and Safety responsibilities commensurate with the role, as outlined in the Health and Safety policy.
  15. Any other duties commensurate with the position as may be assigned from time to time.
