Technical Auditor (Building Products Manufacturing) - Home-based in Northern Ireland, UK

A new vacancy for a Technical Auditor (BUILDING PRODUCTS) with a leading provider of test, assessment & approval services for the Construction industry. The role is home-based in Northern Ireland, and the Technical Auditor (BUILDING PRODUCTS) will conduct regular site assessments of Construction Product Manufacturing sites primarily in Ireland, focusing on Management Systems against ISO 9001 standards. Full induction training will be provided in the company's auditing procedures, with additional training available as required (including a 6-12 month development plan and mentoring).

About You:

The company seeks a Technical Auditor (BUILDING PRODUCTS) passionate about excellence and playing a critical role in enhancing customer service. You should be comfortable working in a structured environment and adaptable when necessary. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with confidence to suggest improvements for efficiency, is essential.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Complete concise technical reports.
  2. Assess and review the effectiveness of:
  3. - Quality Management Systems against ISO 9001 standards
  4. - Manufacture and production of approved products
  5. - Existing site installations or installations in progress to assess durability
  6. - Factory Production Control or EN 1090 structural steel production (training can be provided)

Experience in third-party auditing is preferred but not essential.
