Job summary

Premier Foods Lifton site is seeking a part-time Technical Auditor to join our Technical team on a permanent basis. The role is 27.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday 09:00 to 14:30, with flexibility for out-of-hours audits and validations.

Excellent communication and a detailed, logical approach are required. You will carry out GMP audits, conduct HACCP reviews with cross-functional teams, audit CCPs, undertake traceability exercises, and maintain the site quality management system

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to work independently to deadlines is essential.
• A good understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in auditing, ideally in Food Manufacturing, would be advantageous.
• Awareness of Food Safety, HACCP and Allergens.
• A desire to undertake training and development.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out GMP Audits, supporting the team in identifying root causes and preventative actions.
• Conducting HACCP reviews with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Regularly auditing Critical Control Points (CCPs) to ensure safety and compliance.
• Undertaking traceability exercises of Finished goods and raw materials.
• Maintaining the quality management system via reviews of internal systems and policies.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with site teams and external providers.
• Supporting maintenance and development of site Integrity systems.
• Supporting with external audits and driving close-out of non-conformances.

Technical Auditor - Part Time - 27.5 hours per week £23545.08 per annum Ambrosia is not your typical food business; in our 100+ years of manufacturing the nations favourites, we have evolved into a highly automated and technologically advanced site. We have an opportunity to join our Technical team in Lifton as a Technical Auditor on a permanent, part-time basis, working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 14:30, with flexibility required to support audits and validations out of hours. If you are a good communicator with an eye for detail and a logical approach to problem solving, then this is the role for you.

What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Audits, supporting the team in identifying the root cause and preventative measures to any actions identified.
• Conducting HACCP reviews with our multi-disciplinary team.
• Regularly auditing Critical Control Points (CCPs), ensuring processes are being consistently followed and product safety is maintained.
• Undertaking traceability exercises of our Finished goods and raw materials.
• Maintaining the quality management system via scheduled reviews of internal systems, retailer policies & certification standards.
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with site teams and external service providers.
• Supporting the maintenance and development of site Integrity systems.
• Supporting with external audits, providing information, and driving the close out of non-conformances that may be raised.
