The Princess Anne Hospital provides exceptional maternity and neonatal care, offering midwifery-led and consultant-led services, including options for home births and care for complex pregnancies. Its renowned neonatal unit, among the largest in the UK, supports around 900 babies annually with state-of-the-art facilities, personalised care, and family-focused spaces.
We are delighted to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity for an organised, proactive, and technically skilled individual to join our Maternity and Neonatal Service as a Technical Assistant Support Worker.
We are looking for a motivated individual to support the Maternity and Neonatal Service with the general maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of medical equipment. This includes assisting teams to ensure all equipment is fully functional and any technical issues are managed appropriately.
This vital role involves performing routine checks, ensuring equipment is ready for immediate use, supporting patient transfers, taking responsibility for maintaining equipment and medical consumable stock levels and preparing clinical trolleys. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, able to multitask, and passionate about contributing to a high-quality, fast-paced healthcare environment.
