The Royal Shakespeare Company is seeking a Technical Assistant Stage Manager to join the Matilda The Musical team in London.

The appointed candidate will work within Stage Management and Automation to ensure smooth performances and rehearsals; experience in stage management and knowledge of rigging and automation are essential or desirable.

The role is a Tuesday–Sunday fixed term contract for 12 months with January 2026 start preferred.

Formación

• Professional stage management experience is essential.
• Understanding and practical knowledge of theatre rigging and automation systems is highly desirable.
• West End experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Work within Stage Management and Automation departments to ensure smooth running of performances and rehearsals.
• Maintain safe working practices across all theatre areas during shows and rehearsals.
• Assist in rehearsals and live performances as required by the SM and Automation teams.
