Overview

We are looking for a motivated Technical Assistant to join our team, supporting the maintenance and repair of a wide range of biomedical devices across specified sites. You\'ll work closely with your manager and Biomedical Engineers to ensure all service targets and KPIs are achieved, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your technical skills within a supportive, team-focused environment, working under MTS\'s Quality Management System (QMS).

Responsibilities
  • Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) on a wide range of medical devices (following training).
  • Work in line with manufacturer specifications for all maintenance activities.
  • Complete associated administrative tasks and maintain accurate records within the company\'s management database.
  • Support Biomedical Engineers in day-to-day operations and exceed KPI targets.
  • Maintain safe working practices and adhere to all Health & Safety policies.
  • Manage and maintain stock levels of spare parts.
  • Assist in scheduling planned and remedial workload.
  • Help manage contract workload requirements.
  • Maintain service documentation in line with OEM specifications.
  • Escalate issues or resource requirements as needed.
  • Liaise effectively with third-party suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure integrity of asset data and maintain tools/test equipment.
  • Identify and support service improvement initiatives.
