Technical Assistant / Junior Paraplanner - Esher

We are seeking a Technical Assistant / Junior Paraplanner for our client based in Esher, Surrey. The role involves providing essential paraplanning and administrative support to a team of wealth advisers. There is potential for career progression into an advisory role within the firm, should the candidate wish to pursue this.

This position offers hybrid working arrangements, with 4 days based in the Esher office.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide vital paraplanning support to the team of wealth advisers
  2. Research products, financial planning solutions, and investment strategies
  3. Prepare recommendation reports for client meetings
  4. Offer a high level of technical support
  5. Assist advisers with client management
  6. Provide technical reports and information to advisers and clients
  7. Ensure high-value investment transactions are executed accurately
Experience and Qualifications:
  1. Previous administrative and paraplanning experience is required
  2. Must have some CII exam results or hold a Level 4 qualification in Financial Planning
  3. Familiarity with major research systems (e.g., Cashcalc, Salesforce, FE Analytics)
  4. Experience in the Pension Switch market
  5. Experience with administration of IHT or Investment products
  6. Excellent IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
