Technical Assistant / Junior Paraplanner - Esher

We are looking for a Technical Assistant / Junior Paraplanner for our clients based in Esher, Surrey. You will be providing vital paraplanning and administrative support to a team of wealth advisers. There is also the potential to progress into an advisory role within the firm in the future, if that is something the candidate would want.

This position will allow hybrid working - 4 days based in the office in Esher.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide vital paraplanning support to the team of wealth advisers
2. Research products, financial planning solutions and investment strategies
3. Prepare recommendation reports for client meetings
4. Provide a high level of technical support
5. Assist advisers with client management
6. Provide advisers and clients with technical reports and information
7. Ensure high worth investment transactions are carried out accurately

Experience and qualifications:

1. Previous administrative and paraplanning experience required
2. Must show some CII exam results or hold Level 4 qualified in Financial Planning certificate
3. Familiar with major research systems (e.g. Cashcalc, Salesforce, FE Analytics etc)
4. Experience of the Pension Switch market
5. Experience of administration of IHT or Investment products
6. Excellent IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
