Our client, located in the charming Oxfordshire countryside, is seeking a proactive Technical Specialist to join their experienced and friendly team.

Key tasks

Managing product specifications and technical documentation and support Food Safety Audits.

Providing customer technical guidance over the phone and handle and prepare product samples for assessments.

Plan and oversee product benchmarking and shelf-life testing.

Reviewing corrective action evidence following audits.

Collaborating with the team to enhance food safety and compliance strategies.

About you

A degree in food science or a related field and solid knowledge of food technology, safety, and legislation.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Technical role within the food industry.

Excellent attention to detail strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work to set timescales.

Assertive and proactive with a strong problem-solving mindset.

The Technical Assistant / Food Technologist position (ref: 8926) is paying c.£30,000 according to your experience.

The site is based in Oxfordshire and commutable from Buckingham, Bletchley, Leamington Spa, Witney, Banbury, Brackley, Bicester, Chipping Norton.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
