Technical Assistant
YATE area
GBP up to 28,000 pa DOE

Our client is a successful wholesaler/manufacturer of food products. Due to growth, Manucomm is now seeking a Technical Administrator/Technical Assistant to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company in a day-based role. You will need to be an excellent communicator, with attention to detail, and have a passion for technical work to be successful in this role.

The role of the Technical Assistant will involve:

  1. Working closely with management to ensure all areas of the Food Safety System are constantly maintained
  2. Knowledge of wholesale/nutritional specifications
  3. Regular internal auditing of the Quality System and site hygiene
  4. Creating standard operating procedures for production processes
  5. Development of new products and nutritional information
  6. Testing of existing products
  7. Customer complaint handling
  8. Supplier approval management
  9. Assisting with management of the site HACCP
  10. Assistance on health and safety management
  11. Administration tasks as required

Technical Assistant Qualifications:
  1. HACCP Level 2
  2. Experience of working with specifications
  3. Experience working within a Food/Drink production environment is beneficial
  4. Methodical and logical with attention to detail
  5. Ability to work independently as well as being part of the technical team

Technical Assistant Salary and Benefits:
Salary - up to GBP 28,000 pa
