Are you detail obsessed with a passion for food safety and technical standards? Looking to build your career in a fast paced food manufacturing environment? We've got the perfect opportunity for you. Join our clients Technical Team as a Technical Assistant and play a key role in upholding the highest standards of food safety, compliance, and quality. Working closely with the Technical Manager, you'll help keep our site inspection-ready, our paperwork spotless, and our customers confident in everything we do.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Maintaining up to date technical documents and databases
* Supporting national account customers with technical information and queries
* Coordinating sample schedules, lab testing and environmental swabbing
* Leading traceability exercises and supporting mock recalls
* Assisting with internal audits, hygiene checks and non-conformance investigations
* Reviewing operational paperwork and supporting the allergen matrix
* Preparing for and assisting in customer visits and third-party audits

About You:
* Experience in a QA or technical role within food manufacturing
* Familiarity with BRC or SALSA standards
* Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
* Confident working independently and within a team

Bonus Skills (Not Essential, But Nice to Have):
* Level 3 HACCP & Food Safety qualification
* Internal Auditor certification
* Knowledge of TACCP/food defence
* Understanding of UK food labelling laws
