Sodexo Health and Care seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to join our growing team, supporting the maintenance and repair of essential biomedical devices across multiple healthcare sites in Kent.Reporting to the Biomedical Engineer Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring medical equipment is safe, reliable, and available when needed most.
What You'll Do:
Assist in the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) of a wide range of biomedical equipment (following appropriate training).
Work to manufacturer specifications and within defined quality procedures.
Complete accurate service records and reports via our internal management system.
Support senior Biomedical Engineers and help ensure service KPIs are consistently met.
Maintain tools, test equipment, and spare parts to ensure operational readiness.
Foster professional relationships with clients and third-party suppliers.

What You Bring:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical, engineering, or biomedical-related field.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Proactive approach with a keen attention to detail.
Commitment to safe working practices and quality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a field-based engineering team.
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
