Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically driven Architect or Technologist to join a friendly and sociable architectural practice based in East London. Based in a creative and collaborative environment, this position offers the chance to work on a diverse range of high-quality projects including residential, commercial, retail and education. Notably, this practice offers paid overtime.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in ArchiCAD and have a strong technical skills. The role involves working as part of a close nit team, assisting in the development of design proposals, and preparing detailed drawings and documentation for a variety of project stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the team with the production of detailed design and technical drawings
• Assisting in the preparation of planning applications and other statutory submissions
• Engaging in client meetings and helping to develop design proposals
• Collaborating with other members of the team on various project types and scales
• Maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Using ArchiCAD to produce 3D models, technical drawings, and presentations
• ARB or CIAT registered with 1-2 years post qualification experience
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD highly desirable - candidates who have worked in a BIM environment will be considered
• A strong understanding of building regulations and construction processes
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A keen eye for detail and design, with a creative approach to problem-solving
• Previous experience working in an architectural practice is desirable
• The right to live and work in the UK
