Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is partnering with a leading global government-focused consultancy to deliver strategic digital transformation programs across the UK. The role of Technical Architect drives the design of citizen-facing services at scale, aligning with GDS standards, security frameworks, and cloud-native practices.

The successful candidate will lead architecture and engineering teams, shape roadmaps, and mentor colleagues while delivering robust, accessible, data-driven public sector

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Technical Architect or similar hands-on architecture role.
• Proven success delivering enterprise-scale systems within public sector or highly regulated environments.
• Strong experience designing solutions on Salesforce, AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud platforms.
• Expert-level development experience with Node.js, Java, Python.
• Knowledge of GenAI engineering tools and security-by-design principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex enterprise-scale solutions.
• Translate high-level solution architectures into detailed technical designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Define technical standards, architecture principles, and best practices across programmes.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical direction to development and architecture teams.
• Assure technical quality and alignment with wider organisational and government strategies.
• Architect solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud; champion cloud-native approaches.
• Review code, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies; work with engineering teams on challenges.
