Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for a Public Sector discovery phase programme. The role is hybrid, with an initial 10-week discovery and an option to extend, starting ASAP.

You will provide technical leadership and governance for secure data sharing and cross-organisation integration. You will define cloud-native architectures on AWS/Azure, establish security and governance frameworks, and work with delivery, data and product teams to shape operating models.

• Established security, identity, and governance frameworks to support compliance, assurance, and approval processes.
• Collaborated with delivery, data, and product teams to shape operating models and technical solutions.
• Guided prototyping activities, ensuring solutions were technically viable and aligned to long-term architectural strategy.
• Defined technical success measures, pilot approaches, and architecture outputs required for progression into the next delivery phase.
• Presented architectural recommendations and risk assessments to senior stakeholders and governance boards.
