Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Digital Engineering Technical Architect to ensure practical, scalable technical designs aligned with Siemens best practices. You will translate business processes into detailed Teamcenter/NX designs, bridging consultants, SMEs and developers in a hybrid delivery setup.

Experience with Teamcenter and NX configuration is essential, including BMIDE, workflows, and reporting. Travel to Barrow-in-Furness every three days on a fortnightly schedule is required under this role.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and implementing Siemens Teamcenter and/or NX solutions in complex engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of Teamcenter configuration and architecture (BMIDE, workflow designer, access manager, organization modelling, preferences, change management).
• Hands-on knowledge of NX and managed NX configuration, including CAD templates and integration with Teamcenter.

Responsibilities

• Translate client business processes, engineering requirements and functional specifications into detailed Siemens Teamcenter and/or NX designs.
• Act as the bridge between process consultants, business analysts, solution architects, client SMEs, configurators and developers.
• Design and specify Teamcenter components (BMIDE data model, item types, properties, workflows, access controls, reports) and NX/managed NX configurations.
• Work with stakeholders in an agile or iterative delivery environment.

Your roleCapgemini Engineering looking for Digital Engineering Technical Architect who will be responsible for ensuring that the technical design is practical, scalable, aligned to Siemens best practice, and capable of supporting complex engineering.
