Job summary

CBS Butler in Bristol is seeking a Technical Architect to design secure, scalable software solutions for defence environments. The role is hybrid with 20% onsite in Bristol and a daily rate of £650 inside IR35 for a 6-month contract.

Active SC required; DV clearance preferred. You will define architectures, drive security practices, and support bids and solution development within Agile/DevSecOps teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing architectures for secure, scalable software in complex environments.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and cyber security standards.
• Experience delivering software life cycles with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with distributed or cloud-based systems.

• Work across Agile/SAFe teams, CI/CD and DevSecOps environments.

Essential experience:

• Software architecture and engineering delivery.
• Software design patterns and cyber security standards.
• Software life cycle management, CI/CD and DevSecOps.
• Experience across complex, distributed or cloud-based systems.

Cloud certifications, microservices and digital modernisation experience are desirable.

Clearance:

Active SC required; NPPV3 preferred.
