Job summary

SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ is seeking a Technical Architect (Infrastructure & Transformation) for a defence transformation programme. The role is on-site across Berkshire/Wiltshire/Surrey with a daily rate of up to £650 and an initial 6-month contract.

You will assess, document and modernise technical environments, produce roadmaps, and lead architectural activities while engaging multiple stakeholders. SC clearance or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure or enterprise architecture.
• Knowledge of networks, servers, cloud or platform technologies.
• Experience with technical roadmaps and solution design.
• Defense or secure environments experience (e.g., MOD JSP).
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across programmes.
• SC Clearance or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Understand existing infrastructure on-site to inform roadmaps.
• Produce technical roadmaps and support transformation activities.
• Advise on future architecture across multiple engineering teams.

Technical Architect (Infrastructure & Transformation)

Up to £650/day | Inside IR35 | 6 Months | Berkshire / Wiltshire / Surrey | SC Required

An exciting defence transformation programme requires a Technical Architect to help assess, document and modernise technical environments across multiple engineering businesses.

You'll spend time on-site understanding existing infrastructure before producing technical roadmaps, supporting transformation activity and advising on future architecture.

This role combines technical leadership with hands-on architecture and stakeholder engagement.

You'll ideally have experience with:

• Infrastructure or Enterprise Architecture
• Networks, servers, cloud or platform technologies
• Technical roadmaps and solution design
• Defence or secure environments (Ideally MOD Policies eg JSP)
• Working across multiple stakeholders and programmes
• Up to £650/day
• Initial 6-month contract
• Travel across Berkshire, Wiltshire and Surrey
• Active SC Clearance or eligibility required
