Job summary

ARM in London is seeking a technically skilled architect for a 6-month contract. The role requires active SC clearance and experience in regulated government-like environments to shape cloud architectures and integration patterns.

You will collaborate with digital, governance and platform stakeholders to define options, assess dependencies, and support Alpha mobilisation and delivery across boundaries.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance required.
• Experience in technical architecture in a regulated environment.
• Understanding feasibility, integration, cloud hosting, environments, security, and governance.
• Experience working with digital, architecture, platform and governance stakeholders.
• Ability to identify technical dependencies across access, environments, cloud platforms, interfaces, data availability and delivery capability.

Responsibilities

• Assess the technical implications of potential Alpha scenarios.
• Work with governance stakeholders to understand technical constraints, opportunities, dependencies and assurance requirements.
• Identify technical dependencies that must be resolved during Alpha.
• Support exploration of whether and where a digital service is the appropriate delivery vehicle.
• Define indicative technical options, cloud architectures and integration patterns.
• Support testing of information sharing, collaboration, feedback mechanisms and partner interactions across organisational boundaries.
• Contribute to technical risks, assumptions, dependencies, resource requirements and delivery considerations for Alpha mobilisation and subsequent delivery phases.

Requirements

• Active SC Clearance is required.

We are offering a 6-month contract role inside IR35, with a day rate of up to £630. The role is based in London with hybrid working of 2-3 days onsite each week.
