Overview
As a Technical Application Project Manager, you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organization, powered by healthcare intelligence.
Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with Business & technology teams to gather requirements and implement the product vision, balancing technical feasibility.
- Shape and prioritize the backlog, translating requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria. Facilitate release planning, sprint planning, and demos with stakeholders. Manage technical debt, optimize costs, and improve delivery efficiency.
- Define and lead all aspects of engineering and technology architecture, roadmap, and decisions, using modern design patterns and architectural principles in coordination with the Technical Product Manager, Product Group Lead Engineer, and Business Unit Architect.
- Ensure products meet security, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Support system architecture, design, and code reviews; facilitate technical problem-solving within the squad using the technology strategy.
- Monitor application support tickets, ensuring resolution within SLAs, and communicate status and resolutions to stakeholders.
- Coordinate deep-dive troubleshooting sessions with support teams.
- Lead validated implementation of product systems according to SDLC.
Qualifications
You are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with clinical trial technology and information systems is highly preferred.
- Project Management Certification is preferred.
- Effective at managing relationships with internal and external partners supporting R&D.
- Technical expertise in SAS, Python, Java, JIRA, AWS, and Azure.
- Knowledge of Clinical Pharmacology systems such as NONMEM, Phoenix, NCA-systems, R, Altair/Grid, Matlab, MRGSolve, and Monolix, including system/data integrations for analytics and compliance.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts within a pharmaceutical environment.
