Job description

About the Technical and Quality Manager job

  • Your role is to lead all technical and quality aspects, making sure food safety meets company standards.
  • You will be the BRC audit lead by following a food safety strategy, ensuring the company is always audit ready. You shall conduct risk reviews, prepare for audits, and ensure accurate documentation is always recorded.
  • Handle allergen and risk assessments, environmental and product testing, threat assessments and ensure new risks are addressed via HACCP.
  • Advise on NPD labelling, shelf life, and pack copy for new products as well as attending first productions.

About You

  • The successful candidate shall have strong technical and quality experience in food manufacturing, cost control, and knowledge of major customer codes of practice (e.g., Tesco, Lidl etc).
  • You shall be skilled in audits and certifications, with proven background in BRC, allergen management, and ideally holding or working at Level 4 Food Hygiene and HACCP.

The Technical and Quality Manager job (ref:8911) is paying£45,000 - £55,000 according to your experience.

The working week is Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30am – 05:00pm – Staggered start and finishing times are available. Benefits include 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Healthcare Cashback Scheme and Life Assurance x 2 salary.

The site is Brackley, commutable from Oxford, Bicester, Rugby, Northampton, Banbury, Kidlington, Milton Keynes Stratford-upon-Avon, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick, Witney (Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire).
