Technical and Environmental Co-Ordinator

Responsibilities:

1. Act as a role model and advocate for Food Safety.
2. Conduct Internal Audits & Hygiene Inspections.
3. Support new starter inductions.
4. Support with customer complaints responses and internal investigations.
5. Assist in maintaining the IMS system and work with the Technical Lead to update and review procedures, work instructions, and master forms.
6. Support during external third-party audits and customer visits as required.
7. Support the implementation of ISO45001 standard.
8. Drive a continuous improvement culture, collaborating with other departments to improve quality, controls, and operating performance, reduce waste, and control costs.
9. Act as a role model and advocate for environmental sustainability and continuous improvement.
10. Co-ordinate and oversee environmental operations to ensure regulatory compliance and permit renewals.
11. Ensure the industrial operations are following local regulations.

Person Specification:

1. Experience of environmental management systems e.g. ISO14001.
2. Environmental Audits.
3. In-depth understanding of Quality Control procedures and relevant legal standards.
