Job Description:

As we embark on an exciting phase of growth, we are looking for the right person to provide technical and administrative support to our lab and office-based projects. Through your work, you can help us to achieve WRc’s objectives, including ‘being consciously sustainable’ and a ‘great place to work’.

Key Responsibilities

To support the Waste & Resources consultancy and laboratory teams in technical and administrative tasks including:

  • Data management and routine reporting
  • Routine laboratory work, e.g. sample drying and processing
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Providing general technical and administrative support

Person Specification

  • A-levels or equivalent
  • Numerate and able to work with data, Excel and the MS Office toolset (although full training will be provided)
  • Able to work proactively individually and as part of a team
  • Can-do attitude, flexible, positive and collaborative
  • Eligible to work permanently in the UK
  • Able to be based in Swindon office
  • Qualifications in STEM disciplines such as chemical sciences

Salary and Benefits

  • Up to £23,500 (FTE) depending on skills and experience
