About the Technical Analyst/Senior Technical Analyst role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Analyst/Senior Technical Analyst in our Northampton office.

This role involves gathering technical information, building strong client relationships, and writing technical reports. Candidates should have good communication skills and the ability to articulate complex projects clearly. We offer professional development in areas such as patent box and video game tax relief.

Key responsibilities:

• Keeping up to date with legislative changes
• Managing client calls to gather technical information
• Building relationships with clients
• Explaining reliefs to non-experts
• Writing clear and concise technical reports

About you –

We are looking for candidates with:

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of R&D BEIS Guidelines
• Experience with enquiry defense (advantageous)
• Good time management and communication skills
• Ability to construct cogent written arguments about complex technical projects
• Experience with financial calculations of R&D relief (advantageous but not required)
