Job description

Job Description: Our client is looking for a Technical Analyst (LAN/WAN) in London, UK.


Must Have Primary Skills:

  • Knowledge of operating system troubleshooting and support – Windows, macOS, mobile devices.
  • Familiar with common software applications, troubleshooting and support.
  • Understanding of networking protocols (TCP / IP), VPNs, DNS, LAN/WAN, routers, and firewall.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware.
  • Knowledge of device management tools like Intune, SCCM or PDQ.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills:

  • Strong service desk and customer support skills.

Proven Experience In:

  • Experience providing audio-visual (AV) support for meetings and day-to-day operations.
  • Experience in print management, troubleshooting and support.
  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Jira, ServiceNow – logging and tracking of incidents and service requests and ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for dealing with end users and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability in all tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to use PowerShell for basic support tasks, automate routine processes, and troubleshoot common system issues.
  • Cybersecurity awareness.
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator, MCSE, PDI+, ITIL certification etc.
