About The Role

We are currently seeking a Technical Analyst within the ASG Public Sector Complaints Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and progressing complaints received from Public Sector members, whether complaints against XPS or the scheme (Internal Dispute Resolution).

The ASG Team is one of XPS Administrations central services teams. Their main objective is to maintain and strengthen XPS Administrations processes, ensure XPS and trustees provide a compliant service, enable enhancements to services, promote good quality pensions administration, and provide pensions training. In additional they provide support to the admin teams on technical pensions and process issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse complaints
  • Consult with the Administration teams to understand what, if anything, has gone wrong
  • Corresponding directly with the complainant through each stage of the complaint
  • Identify and agree a resolution to the complaint
  • Identify and produce or assist with guidance for teams and client managers, as a result of any lessons learned from the complaint
  • Provide support to Admin teams and Client Managers
  • Ad-hoc activities as determined by the business.
  • Design and present training to pensions administration staff as required.
  • Producing and providing regular stats to Admin and Client Relationship Managers

Your Profile: Essential:

  • Successfully qualified in or progressing CPC/DPC/RPC/APMI
  • Direct, relevant experience of dealing with complaints within the occupational pension schemes industry
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues simple and succinctly
  • Ability to provide information to different audiences - members, clients, admin teams or client manager

Desirable

  • Preferably educated at least to A level standard
